1966 strat its been played for 45 years but it is in absolutely great condition for its age, guitar is 100% original (including pots, frets, switches, solder joints, tuners, hardware and pickups) the body and neck are a matched 1966.

Beautiful Custom Candy Apple Red the one with red, gold, red, gold multiple times. Original pickups and original pots, original bridge,original 3 way switch, original tuners and Original pickguard I put strap locks on it but have orignal strap tabs which are included.

Neck is a dream to play on, straight and super fast action rosewood neck small ware on the back but nothing major only from rockin out the frets are all in great shape with medium action as I play with 12 E string.

She has that FANTASTIC Vintage Tone that only aged wood can reproduce still has all 5 springs and tremllo arm. Excellent body condition with player wear and a few chips as pictured. nice clean front.

This guitar was played for on the road for over 30 years and sounds awesome.

1964 Gibson ES-330 TDC Thinline Hollowbody Cherry Red with Gibson Vibrato which is very rare.
Completely original with no repairs or issues except one key is loose but stays in tune and never bothered to fix it as had many dudes wanting to replace all keys etc.. lucky I knew enough even 30 years ago not to let those repair dudes fuck it up.

I am the second owner and have had this since the 70s. very little play on this one and it has spent most of its life in the not original case but alast 20 years in a gibson case that is also included as I never took it on the road.

The chrome P-90s and the Gibson Vibrato on this Thinline Hollowbody set it apart from ES-335s. Those are great guitars for sustain but lack the open voice of the ES-330. The P-90s, Vibrato and your playing style make for an awesome tone, beautiful mellow tones for blues and jazz to rockin
treable bite and inbetween.

Nothing has been replaced: it is all original! The case has a few latches that are broken but still in good shape and protects the guitar.
There’s the usual weather crazing that is common on 45 year old lacquer finishes and only a bit of ware on the neck but nothing compared to many guitars this old. There is no ‘buckle’ rash at all.

The hardware is bright and shiny and everything; pots, pickups, switch and jack, work as they should. Solid investment and a great instrument from an era of fine workmanship from Gibson.

The Bad World Tour, was the first world concert tour by Michael Jackson as a solo artist, covering Japan, Australia, United States and Europe from September 12, 1987 to January 27, 1989. Certainly, there can be no mistaking the look of their most famous member. Trilby tipped forward, throwing the face into shadow, and held in place by a single white sequined glove – the King of Pop – that’s what they call Michael Jackson. It’s a reminder that, if Berry Gordy Jr had fulfilled his dream of becoming a professional boxer Motown might never have been born. But he also had another passion, for music. And instead of going into the ring, he set up a record company, which took its name from Motor Town, as his Detroit home was dubbed after becoming the hub of the American car industry.

It was a move which took not just his life, but those of millions of music fans around the world, on a completely different road.

Yesterday the now legendary label marked its 50th anniversary, and people across the globe celebrated what became not just a successful label but an entire musical genre. Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Martha Reeves And The Vandellas, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Jackson Five, The Four Tops and The Isley Brothers – the list of timeless Motown acts seems endless. It is hard to believe that it all began back in 1959 with an dollars-800 loan from relatives.

As a boy he had dropped out of school to pursue his ambition to go into boxing, later serving in the US Army during the Korean war. On his return home he made his first move into music, setting up a record store. But selling tunes was never going to be enough and he dabbled in songwriting, penning Reet Petite, among other hits, for the singer Jackie Wilson.

As well as 123, don’t forget the Jackson 5′s “I want you back” featured on the Jackson Five’s Greatest Hits. You can’t help but love the beat, the music, Michael Jackson’s voice. The song would come on the radio in the car and people everywhere would bob up and down.

I put this up as I think it is a good video on Blues amps and like the right dudes view on getting a blues tone, and the other  dude on the left has some great learning guitar videos for free on the net for those geetar players out there.

For me the number one blues amp if you can find one is a a 50′s 4-10 Fender Tweed Bassman. Buddy Guy played one in the early days. Marshall Amps took the design concept off them  and made one of the best amps for rock-blues. Check out Joe’s Bonamassa video on this site  Music 123 for great info on a Marshall. My other all time favorite amp is a  Fender Black Face Twin Reverb, again 4-10′s, 4-10′s meaning 4 ten inch speakers in the cab. However you need a good size club to play with those baby’s otherwise you will blow everybody head off.  Fender Twin Reverb are nice with 2-12′s and good for larger and smaller gigs but are a little loud for a small club. For a small club I like to use a 1956 Fender Deluxe. If you can’t find or can’t afford vintage stuff there are now more than enough amps made with the amps above in mind. Don’t settle for re-issues amps even tube amps that have stuff that is made with circuit  boards make sure it is hard-wired (search for that team). Get a tube amp for sure for blues, modeling for the tone just don’t cut it if you are serious about blues and tone like we are here at music 123 Worldwide. Enjoy the vid!
